As much as it hurts to say, lash extensions aren’t for everyone. 

There are many reasons why a client may choose not to wear lashes. Some clients do not want the time commitment of appointments, fills, and aftercare. In other cases, the clients want to give their natural lashes a break. And in the most unfortunate scenarios, the client has lash allergies and is unable to wear them!

We wanted to create a product where clients, regardless of their situation, could find something that gives them that lash extension look without the extra time, cost, and products. We also wanted to create a retail item that lash artists could recommend to their non-lash-wearing clients!

That’s how RADSCARA was born – a mascara and natural lash serum in one! 

We’ve been receiving tons of questions about her on our Instagram and TikTok, so I wanted to answer them all for you here. 

What is Radscara? 

Radscara is an all-natural mascara that gives your lashes the care they crave! Packed with antioxidant-rich ingredients like pumpkin seed extract and Vitamin E, its nourishing formula conditions the lashes while stimulating hair growth – who said makeup couldn’t be good for you? 

Designed for everyday use, Radscara uses fibers to lengthen and add soft definition giving you a fluffy lash feel that’s next stiff or flaky. 

What is an accelerating mascara?

We use the term accelerating because Radscara is formulated with research-backed ingredients proven to promote hair growth. As you wear it, the vitamin-packed formula conditions your lashes and stimulates the hair follicles meaning that over time, your natural lashes look and feel better.

Is Radscara cruelty-free?

Yes! Our products are never tested on animals. 

Is it safe for sensitive skin?

Yes! We use high-quality natural ingredients which make Radscara a great makeup alternative for those with sensitive eyes. Plus, it’s fragrance-free, gluten-free, paraben-free, and alcohol-free.

Is it safe for eyelash extensions?

Though we think Radscara is pretty amazing, we do not recommend wearing any mascara with eyelash extensions (including those deemed “eyelash extension” safe.) Even with regular cleanings, the oil in mascara can degrade the lash glue, causing your lashes to shed more quickly. 

Is Radscara waterproof? 

No. Radscara is water-resistant thanks to natural protective ingredients like beeswax, but it is not waterproof. 

Is Radscara smudge-resistant? 

Yes – say goodbye to accidental raccoon eyes!

Is it easy to remove? 

Yes! While Radscara is water-resistant, it is easily removable with warm water and a washcloth. 

What are the ingredients in Radscara?

Water: Self-explanatory

Hyaluronic acid: A humectant used to increase moisture 

Collagen: A protein that provides strength and support to your lashes 

Sphingolipid: A long-chain lipid (a.k.a. fat) used to replenish and condition 

Myristol Pentapeptide-17: An amino acid peptide attached to the oil-soluble fatty acid, myristic acid, for better bioavailability

Arginine: An amino acid that helps the body build protein

Propylene glycol: A humectant used to increase moisture retention in skin and hair

Beeswax: A natural wax produced by honey bees used to create a protective, water-resistant film over the eyelashes

Palm tree wax: A natural thickening agent that also conditions the lashes 

Vitamin E:  A fat-soluble antioxidant that strengthens the lashes

Pumpkin seed extract: A naturally-derived oil proven to promote hair growth

How do I apply it?

To apply Radscara, take the wand and place it at the base of your lashes. Wiggle from root to tip for soft definition and all-day curl.  Pro tip: Never “pump” your mascara wand as that can push air into the tube, causing the product to dry out quicker. 

Will I see results? 

Great lashes come to those who wait! It takes about 4-6 weeks to see results from daily use. Radscara is best paired with Rad Lash Natural Lash Serum for ultimate results!
